Northwind Analytics Mockup
B2B SAAS SERIES B 18 MONTHS

Northwind Analytics

Series B analytics platform stuck at $4.2M ARR for nine consecutive quarters. Brand had been bolted on by three different freelancers. Demos were converting, but the top of funnel had quietly collapsed.

The Problem

Marketing site was technically a Webflow template the founder bought in 2021. It looked like every other B2B SaaS site — same hero illustration genre, same "trusted by" row, same three-up feature grid. Product was genuinely sharp. The site made it look like a commodity. CAC had tripled over 18 months and the board was getting nervous.

What We Changed

We threw out the template. Rebuilt the brand system from positioning up — new voice, custom type pairing, a visual language built around their actual product (annotated data, not stock illustrations). Then we shipped a 14-page marketing site with live product imagery, narrative case studies, and a pricing page that finally told the truth.

Six weeks, not six months. We co-located with their PMM lead for two of those weeks.

DTC RELAUNCH 9 MONTHS

Mira Skincare

A six-product clinical skincare line that had been bootstrapped to $1.8M on Shopify and a Squarespace About page. Founder wanted to raise. Brand could not survive a due diligence deck.

The Problem

The product worked — that was never the question. But the brand read like a 2019 Instagram side hustle: serif logo, beige palette, lifestyle photography that could have been any of forty competitors. Investors couldn't tell it apart from white-label dropshippers. Repeat rate was 22% and falling.

What We Changed

We repositioned the whole line as clinical-first, not "clean beauty." New identity built on lab notation and ingredient transparency. Full custom packaging system. Shopify rebuild on a headless stack with a quiz-driven PDP flow. We also killed two SKUs.

Founder closed her Series A four months after launch on the deck we built the brand foundation for.

FINTECH SERIES C ONGOING · YEAR 2

Foundry Capital

A back-office finance platform for emerging managers. Crowded category, regulated, allergic to anything that smells like marketing. Their previous agency had spent eight months on a redesign that never shipped.

The Problem

Their buyers are LPs and CFOs — sophisticated, skeptical, and immune to the design vocabulary that works for consumer fintech. They needed a marketing surface that looked like a Bloomberg terminal had been art-directed by a Swiss design school. And it had to ship in time for a major industry conference.

What We Changed

Took the partnership engagement. We embed two designers and a developer with their team monthly. First quarter: full marketing site rebuild on a custom CMS, focused on data density and editorial pacing. Quarters two through four: product marketing pages, two webinar microsites, a research report system, and the new investor portal.

No agency theater. Just steady, senior, in-their-Slack execution.

Three different categories.
Same operating principle.

01

We don't ship until the positioning is right

Most agency rebuilds fail because they redesign the surface and leave the underlying story alone. Every case study above started with a positioning rework. The visual system follows from that, never the reverse.

02

Small senior teams, full stack

Each of these was a team of three or four — strategy, design, engineering, no layers in between. The client talked to the people doing the work. That's not a luxury, it's the only way the work stays sharp.

03

We measure on revenue, not impressions

Every case study tracks back to a business outcome — ARR, raise, pipeline. If the metric we'd report on at end of year is "30% lift in time-on-page," we declined the project. That's not a flex, it's how the partnership works.

Have a similar story in mind?

We take on a small number of these every year. If your situation maps to any of the above — stuck growth, brand drag, due-diligence problem — let's see if we're the right team.
